Robotics & the Future Production
In this article I would like to emphasis how the upcoming generation would look like!!!!
It’s about Robotics, the Future Production and Work. But what is the Robotics Revolution and what will it really deliver? To answer that we must examine what is a robot is, what new technologies such as smart materials are emerging that will change the definition of a robot and how robot will affect the lives of people and health of planet. If we briefly revisit the 2 prior revolutions- Industrial and Technology-These were characterized by developments of 2 very different concepts: mechanical and electrical.
Robotics, on the other hand, exploits a fusion of mechanical systems, electrical systems and new methods of computation and intelligence. It is through the combination of the best from multiple existing and new technologies that a quite astonishing range of robots and robotic systems is being and will be developed.
Statistical representation of the use of robots
The use of robotics will increase productivity and has the potential to bring more manufacturing production work back to developed countries. Companies around the world are increasing their use of robots. According to the International Federation of Robotics, the global average for industrial robots per 10000 manufacturing workers grew from 66 in 2015 to 85 in 2017 and as for now, it has grown even more. To date, most robot adoption has occurred in manufacturing where in they perform a wide variety of manual tasks more efficiently and consistently than humans. But with continued innovation, robot use is spreading to other sectors from agriculture to logistics to hospitality.
Let’s look into some of the latest innovations in Robotics!
● Rescue Robots
Imagine yourself lost deep on the forest on a cold night, where it’s too windy for search aircraft and too dark for ground teams. Fortunately to you, it’s ten years into the future and hundreds of tiny intelligent robots will be combing the woods for you throughout the night. All terrain robots will truly function as a team by sharing their locations, discoveries, search patterns and more.
● Google’s worker robots
Google is planning to produce worker robots with personalities. Engineers will enable the machines to download personalities from a cloud-based system. The robots have the capacity to store and display multiple personalities
when interacting with humans.
UR3 arm
An automated device created by universal robots known as UR3 can build its own replacement parts on the fly. This robot can handle a variety of tasks such as gluing, painting and grasping.
Saul Robot
It is a mandatory innovation to our current situation as well. It is designed to help fight deadly diseases like Ebole virus. This machine deployed by Air force to eliminate the virus in rooms where quarantine procedures are conducted on aid workers. This machine can break down and weaken cell walls of virus.
Anus Zenbo
This is a low cost robot capable of rolling around autonomously and understand verbal commands. It was developed to help individuals remember daily tasks such as exercise and medication. Zenbo can also monitor the surroundings to detect any emergencies.
Like wise, the machines have long moved out of research labs to venture into new spheres. Countless robots are already contributing to higher quality products and shorter turnaround times in manufacturing sector. More innovations are yet to come…..✨
