RIMUN - Nugegoda

"At the time I was just thirteen, I wasn't exactly bubbling with confidence and didn't have the nerves to speak infront of let alone a small crowd of people. MUN completely changed -if not revolutionalized- all of that! I'm forever grateful for my seniors who saw the potential in us and helped us through every step of the way. From giving my first speakers' list speech at RIMUN practice debates to winning awards at conferences.... from formal dressing up to conferences at fancy hotels to being part of our club's Exco...I've made lifelong memories and friendships. It not only polished up my self-confidence but broadened my perspective on the world around around me. The skills and experience I got from this club molded me into the person I am  today. Socialising, Public Speaking, Debating, Leadership and representing a stance as a delegate are all skills that I got to cultivate here. The greteatest gift of all, was growing up side by side with my Co-President and Secratary General of RIMUN 2020/2021, Sanara Galhenage. I couldn't recommend this club more to anyone. Cheers to the RIMUN family!!!"
